Welcome to the Halloween edition of Weekly-Deviant!
Make sure you stay turned after the normal features to see all of our special Halloween based art!  I would just like to thank the 150+ members we have gained in the first five weeks, and a special thanks to the 150th member, ~scriptboy!  Also everyone give thanks to the great devoted mods!  Without them, none of this would be possible.

What is Weekly-Deviant?
A Club devoted to the exposure of unknown deviants!

This is a club created to mimic the idea of daily deviant, with a different objective!
Each Saturday, The genre moderators and I will choose our winners for the week and compile them into a news article for all to see.

Not only does this artist have some incredible art in the nature area, you should also be sure to check out his drawings and other projects, as they are all equally captivating!  His photographs almost attain a mysterious sort of glow that will make it difficult to look away.  Enjoy.

Xavier Portebois is a great example of urban exploration photography. He manages to create works that capture the feel of urban decay without having a messy composition, which can be rather difficult to do. He's also doing an exhibition at the Bar Parallele, in Lille (France), from the 4th of November to the 13th of December.

This week I chose ~ERSPhotography who has a great technical skill when it comes to photography. The skills that are used mean that every shot has the perfect balance of colour and contrast, and they are composed in a way that makes them appealing and easy on the eye. He has a great eye for capturing plants, animals and nature! Well Done!!

I must say that this week has been a hard week of searching for a deviant to feature.  I was becoming downtrodden at the fact that I might not find a worthy comic artist and lo and behold I stumbled across ~Ninjin-nezumi She has a remarkable gritty feel to her pencils and sketches that just scream "dynamic" and she adds a special touch to the Manga aspect with her specific gritty-style and is well worth a look-see and faves!  Congratulations ~Ninjin-nezumi keep up the awesome work and you are our Featured Weekly Deviant!

A long-time Deviant, ~flyingdebris has an excellent gallery with a very cool style centered, for the most part, around technical and sci-fi themed works. Definitely worth checking out. Also, as a side note, his Mudkips painting (the second featured work) made me laugh quite a bit!

This week we actually have two photo manipulation features, because I fudged on last weeks article and left him out oops!

~Staldren has a great eye for perceiving natural lights which helps him achieve a great effect when playing with contrasts. Most of his works are in warm earthy tones and a have a really soft painted glow to them. I saw ~Staldren's art is one that shouldn't be missed.

For this week I choose ~aphostol. I would define ~aphostol's art as dark art with a twist. I love the way he balances colors and plays with contrasts. Dark gloomy skies and mists seem to be a constant when it comes to his photomanipulations and he does a great job adjusting them to fit each work in part.
